50,000 watt station of record in the Carolina's. In 2007 WBT celebrated
it's 85th Anniversary celebrating the country's second oldest radio
station. Live and local, WBT covers news, weather, traffic and more. Start
the day with Charlotte's Morning News with Al Gardner and Stacey Simms,
followed by Keith Larson and Rush Limbaugh. Your afternoon begins with Jeff
Katz followed by John Hancock and Tara Servatius.
Great family traditions begin with News
Talk 1110 WBT. Since 1976 WBT has owned, managed and produced SkyShow, the
area's largest fourth of July fireworks show. In December, WBT's Holiday on
Ice is the place to be with outdoor ice skating in uptown Charlotte.
In addition to having the
News Makers on the air, WBT is also the Flagship Station for the Carolina
Panthers. If it's happening in Charlotte or the surrounding area, it is
heard on News Talk 1110, WBT.
